Lent - 40 Days of Devotion

Do you understand the energetics of the solar aspects? And, why lent ia such a powerful discipline to take on? It’s a 40 day “fasting.”

Lent is 46 calendar days, but:

 •Sundays are not counted

 •They are feast days within the fast

So the fasting discipline itself = 40 days

This keeps Lent from becoming punishment.

Grace is woven in.

In other words, if you gave up chocolate, you can eat chocolate on Sundays.

Or you can continue fasting if you want to be extra disciplined.

You can keep your fast going straight through Sunday.

I didn’t know that.   lol  

In Inner Alchemy terms:

 penitence = conscious recalibration.

The word penitence comes from the Latin paenitentia, meaning:

 •a change of mind

 •a turning of the heart

 •a return to right relationship

It was never meant to mean self-shaming or suffering.

True penitence is:

 •honesty

 •humility

 •willingness to see clearly

 •devotion to alignment

Your Inner Alchemy Healing is penitential because it asks:

 •Where am I out of alignment?

 •What am I carrying that is no longer true?

 •What patterns have calcified?

 •What attachments are draining my life force?

And then crucially

it asks you to take responsibility, not blame.

That is penitence.

Inner Alchemy Healing does not say:

“I am bad.” “I am sinful.”

It says:

“This pattern no longer serves me.”

That distinction is everything.

Inner Alchemy Healing is penitential because it requires radical honesty, gentle restraint, and the courage to let false structures fall, all in service of embodiment.

Lent is a nervous-system purification.

Mind. Body & Spirit.
